SHARON OSBOURNE To Appear On 'Strictly Come Dancing'?

April 24, 2009

According to RTE.ie, it has been reported that Ozzy Osbourne's wife/manager Sharon is set to appear as a contestant on "Strictly Come Dancing", a British television show featuring celebrities with professional dance partners competing in ballroom and Latin dances.

The Daily Mirror reports that Osbourne has told friends that she is definitely joining the BBC show for its next outing which would put her up against her former show, "X Factor", in the TV ratings.

A BBC source is quoted in the newspaper as saying: "Sharon is already a huge name in TV and music, so she is perfect for the show.

"The fact she has been on 'X Factor' means that she is sure to have plenty to say when the two shows launch. Sharon verbally agreed the deal several days ago and will sign contracts in the coming weeks. She is so excited she is already telling her friends."
